Hidden Under The “Shadow” Chapter 9 For This We Have Jesus

It has been quite some time since I have place up a posting up on one of   Mother Wilson teachings from her book called, “Hidden Under the Shadow.”  Mother Wilson wrote this book in 1993 and she placed the book in my hands November 11, 1994. Within the little stable little white booklet, that she was so proud of was a personal message, handwritten, inside of the book for me.   Little did we know that when she gave me the booklet that God would use me to place her message on the internet because internet had not yet became a way of life.  Mother Wilson just knew that God would extend her ministry and that she would reach a large group of people for Him.  I remember her telling me every time I would visit her in that storefront.  Mother Wilson would constantly in a faithful manner, confess to me that God was going to use her to reach a large amount of people for Jesus Christ,   Guess what? God used me to help Him keep His promise to her.

Please read Mother Wilson message.  Thank you Pastor Tate.

Hebrew 11:13 King James Version
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Hidden Under The “Shadow”
Chapter 9
For This We Have Jesus

When impossible things become possible, they are made possible through the power of faith. In Mark 9:23, Jesus said unto him: IF THOU CANST BELIEVE, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVETH.” This includes us as well, there are some things that are beyond human power.  But Divine Power can bring them to pass.  He is our Lord and Christ and there is not a person on the face of the fill himself with God’s Spirit.  His Grace give freely to those who ask Him in faith.  Faith is the Key, required to walk a strong walk with God.

Jesus can satisfy the deepest longing and answer the deepest question in our lives.  Some may say, I have Faith, but nevertheless God knows our hearts, and when He see fit, He will give us what we need, read Luke 18:18-30.  One of the Great teachings of the Bible is that a person cannot save Himself without God.  A man cannot by food works, earn salvation, nor by sacrificing himself.  Salvation comes from God’s Graces as a gift to man in response to his or her faith in God, and obedience to His Word.  It is in our Fears, that we believe God won’t do it, or beliefs in what others might say, or could it possibly be the fact that we just don’t have the faith to believe.  We must be Mountain Movers.  We can become confused as to what God wants us to say or do, or whether He wants us to give up all our possessions to be saved, or just simply have faith.  When He sees we are confused, He answers to all of us in Mark 10:27. WITH MEN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT NOT WITH GOD, FOR WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.”

It is time, that we as children of God, come face to face with ourselves, and stand up and act upon what God has given us in His Word.  Mark 11:23-24.   This includes living by the Word.  I myself have to say: “I can have anything if I just believe.” Don’t limit God.  Let us stand firm on the Word of God.  We all need Power beyond ourselves.  This power comes from prayer.  Although we may utter words, and sincerely plea from our Hearts, the answer to our prayers come, only from God.  Don’t look at the mountain, look at Jesus, don’t look at the circumstances, look at Jesus, Let us keep our eyes steadfast on the Lord. We need to walk on Spiritual waters as Peter did, Matthew 14:28.  I can guarantee, that you will have the thrill of your lifetime because this will allow God to do what He wants to do.  I am just waiting to see all He is going to do for us.  There is no power on earth, no demon in hell that can stop Him.  Yes, our faith, and you have faith, the waves cannot override us.  We can make it, walking on Spiritual waters, if we but simply keep our eyes on Jesus.

Jesus has said in His word: everyone that hath forsaken houses, brethren, sister, father, mother, wife, children, or land, for My sake: shall receive a hundred-fold, and shall receive everlasting life, Matthew 19:29.  In other words, what He has prepared for the faithful ones is so great, that we cannot compare it to anything we could ever sacrifice, for God in this life.   We have to come as a little child. He is our Father, tell Him you have need of more faith.  God has promised to those who will live for Him, an unending life of bliss; Impossible with man, But with God, all thins are possible to him that believes.   “BECAUSE THOU HAST MADE THE LORD, WHICH IS MY REFUGE, EVEN THE MOST HIGh THY HABITATION; THERE SHALL NOT EVIL BEFALL THEEE, NEITHER SHALL ANY PLAGUE COME NIGH THY DWELLING.  FOR HE SHALL GIVE HIS ANGELS CHARGE OVER THEE, TO KEEP THEE IN ALL THEY WAYS.  Ps.91:9-11. Walk while it is yet called daylight, for when the night falls NO man can see.  I pray, that before the sun set you will find your place Hidden Under the Shadow of the Almighty  A-MEN.

Prophet, Prophecy

What is Prophecy?
A couple of months ago one of my Face Book friends asked me a question.
Pastor Tate what is a Prophet?  Today I felt the Lord wanted me, to address the question.

Some people have had the experience of prophesying but that does not make them a prophet.  Some times the environment can be set, through praise and worship where people in that environment will bring forth a prophecy because there is a high anointing or presence of God in the environment. However, this person may not walk in the office of a prophet.  King Saul is a good example of a person that was in an environment full of prophets who were prophesying and he too prophesied, but was not a prophet.

I Samuel 19:21-24 King James
21.  And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also.
22.  Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.
23.  And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.
24.  And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?

The word “Naioth” means “dwelling.” “Ramah” means “high.”  The Spirit of the Living God was there, so even evil people can prophesizes if God has chosen them to do such and be accurate.

Many people who have experience this, often think and believe that they are prophets and will go around giving people false prophecies and not be in a “Naioth” or “Ramah” environment because God used them for a certain situation.  However, little do people know that there is a great difference in prophesying and actually being called into the five-fold ministry as a prophet.

 Ephesians 4:11-14 King James Version
11.  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12.  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13.  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14.  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

A Prophet is someone who speaks by divine inspiration.  A Prophet is someone who is an interpreter of the will of God.  Prophets are use of God as an intermediary (go-between) with humanity delivering new founded knowledge from the supernatural, accordingly to the Word of God, to other human beings.

The English word for “Prophet” or “seer,” is “nabi” “roch,” and “hozeh.” “Nabi” literally means “to bubble up” this word describes one who is stirred up in the spirit.  “Bubbling” up means to speak and to declare, hopefully it is the Word of God and not your own words you are using in order to impress folks.  The Word of God is to be spoken to others in order to build them up in their spirit man and to give them a desire to get closer to God.

“Bubbling up” means “speaking to declare,” therefore, a prophet is an announcer; a person who pours forth the declaration of God according to the Word of God. Notice I said, accordingly to the Word of God.

“Roeh”
“Roeh” means “to see” or “to perceive” describes one who is a “revealer” of “secrets,” “revelation” one who “envision.”

Prophet is just a person or it can be sometimes a thing, and God sometimes uses things, to prophesized with; one who speaks for another, a representative who carries a message, an expounder of God’s Word this is a “prophet.”

Acts 1:1-5 King James Version
1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.1  5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Name the mountain where Jesus is to return on His second coming?
Answer:  Mt. of Olives
Acts 1:9-12 King James Version
  9. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
After Jesus ascension the disciples where warned by two angels to depart, and to set their minds upon his second coming
 10. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11. Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
They accordingly return, and, giving themselves to prayer, choose Matthias apostle in the place of Judas
 12. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey. 13. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Acts Chapter 1
Introduction:
I told you before we started talking about Father’s Day with our topic “Can You Really Have a Family without the Father in the Midst?”  that Acts recorded, and indicated to us that it was Luke who wrote the book of Acts. The Book was the second of two volumes that Luke wrote, the first being Luke’s Gospel. Here are the scriptures that confirm this.

Luke 1-1-4 King James Version
1. Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things, which are most, surely believed among us, 2. Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word three. It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4. That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.

Acts 1:1-5 King James Version
In this portion of scriptures Christ is preparing his apostles for his ascension into heaven. Jesus gathers them together at the Mount Olivet, and commands them to go into Jerusalem for the sending down of the Holy Ghost, a promises after a few days to send it, and then Jesus ascends into heaven right before their very eyes.

I also talked about how Luke had written Acts in first and third person; that Luke was with Paul on some of his journeys.

What is the Value of teaching about Acts?
First, we need an intelligent understanding of the New Testament. From some of the teaching I been hearing, especially concerning the work of the Holy Spirit, many people do not have a very good understanding of the Holy Spirit or of the role of the church. The book of Acts gives us a better understanding of the Holy Spirit and how the church has affected World History through the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives and bring forth healing.

It is in Acts that Luke places before us what the church is to be and do. Luke explains to us the missions and the commission of the church. Luke begins by giving us the mandate’s and the source, with the emphasizes on the divine power that is needed to be  apply in a manner consistent with its purpose or design, and Luke therefore portrays the power of the Holy Ghost, who divinely worked in us and  who brought results in individual lives and in the dynamic fellowship that is in the church. Lack of change is a lack of the Holy Spirit in the life of an individual or a corporate body of Believers. This is what Luke and Acts shows us. No change in a individual person or corporate body of believers means there is no Holy Spirit.  You cannot be in the presences of the Lord and there not be a change in your behavior or character.

Luke begins to explain to us the building of the church by the Holy Spirit, by giving us a brief history of what happen prior to the empowering of the Holy Spirit. It is important for us to understand and know that it is the power of the Holy Spirit that empowers “give or delegate power or authority to the church”. We need to understand that the church must complete the mandate to preach the gospel over the whole world and to preach its truth and not our own. This is what we have been given by the  power of the Holy Spirit to do.

Preparation for Pentecost
Luke, with divine skills, begins in Acts by getting us to look backwards; Luke lays the groundwork for his second volume of historical narrative of the beginning of the church, as we know it today. In this "beginning, in the beginning of Acts" Luke centering on preparation for the coming of the empowering Holy Spirit of the living God. We need to hear his claim that by the Spirit's power the church will fulfill its mandate of preaching the gospel to the ends of the earth. What a difference that will make in how we offer or receive this message! However, I do not see the church talking about the Holy Spirit as much and the sad part is this, there are many people who are preaching who do not have the Holy Spirit and have not experience the power of the Holy Spirit in working in their lives.

Jesus charges the disciples that they were to be his witnesses to the ends of the earth.

Acts 1:8 King James Version

8.      However, ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Luke 1:1-5 King James Version
1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. 5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

Luke wants us to know that this was a generous church and a growing church.  This church was devoted to prayer and to the teachings of the apostles. They feared the Lord and they had respect for the laws of God. This was a generous and growing church. I have found that the generous churches are the growing churches. I have told many a pastor that if they wanted their church to grow that they needed to have a strong outreach. Many of them are so egotistical they think all they need  to do is to be able to preach and that their preaching is some how going to win people over not if you do not have the power of the Holy Ghost in it your preaching means nothing.   How are you going to win people over when you have not won God over? We win God over by being generous and then we see the church grow in membership.

The church in Act fear God, meaning they had respect for God. People today have no respect for anything. No respect for life of the unborn from the womb. I found out last week that there was also   a tremendous disrespect for fatherhood now as in the natural so it is in the Spiritual realm.  Meaning there is no respect for the Father.   No respect for nothing. No feelings of profound respect for someone or something. It is not there. This fears; this respect for God and of God is why the early church was able to see miracles. The lack of the fear for God is the reason the church of today cannot see miracles of God.

Acts 9:34 King James Version
34. And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make they bed. And he arose immediately,

What we are seeing is the power of Jesus Christ, working through men after his ascension.

I feel God wants me to talk about the lack of fear for Him for a moment or two.

Psalm 3:10 King James Version
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures forever.

We don’t recall the Works of the Lord, we do not understand the providence, meaning the guardianship and control exercised by a God towards this world.  We don’t understand it and to make matters worse we do not respect the idea that God is in control. What is so sad we see death all around us yet we do not fear what is beyond that grave.  We don’t know, or respect God’s covenants we do not respect God’s promise or prophecies.  If they did our government would not be trying to give Israel land away we would not be legalizing abortions, drugs and same sex marriages.     God means what he says and He is mindful of his covenant even if you and I are not. He gave that Land to Israel and He made a covenant with them concerning it.  He does not care what you think He will keep His convent with them even if it means United States biting the dust.

Redemption was given to Israel first, now it is wrought for us only for a season.  It is as foolish man woman, boy and girl and most of all a dumb nation that forgets the covenants of God.  It is the fear of the Lord that lead men and women to repentance and it is  a compromising unbelieving  church that tries to try to take that fear away.  Therefore, the church thinks it can be saved by not repenting, not having fear of the Lord  thereby not acting wisely.

Proverbs 1:7 New International Version
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 3: 5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”

Proverbs 8: 32-35
32. Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. 33.Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
34. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD”

Instead of the church teaching the nation being leaders, we are following and bringing the ways of the world into the church.  The other night I was watching one  teaching on  T.B.N network and they had this girl preaching, wearing natural color super skin tight tights and black nail polish.  Her appearance alone said to me; Holy Ghost is not done with her, and that it was not her season to be preaching, yet T.B.N. were  compromising because we have no fear of the Lord, we do not know what are the signs that a person truly has the Holy Spirit and sanctification has taken place.  I am going to stop here for right now.

Morning Cup Biblical Trivial Questions

When John was in Prison, what did he tell his disciples to ask Jesus?

Answer: Are you the One (Messiah) or do we look for another?
Matthew 11:3 King James Version

Morning Cup Faith without Works is Dead Meditation
I will work to free myself from old guilt. Knowing that I am a worthy person, I will find the strength to endure in Jesus name.

Can You Really Have a Family Without The Father in the Midst?

For Family is a Derivative of the Word Father:
When  I use the word “derived” I am saying that the idea, language, term, or other things was developed from this word “Father” into something that is similar to it.

Now here is a play on words and I will get in to more details with this later on this week.  “Can you really have a family without the Father Mist in the Midst?”
But right now I want to let you know that if it had not been for the “Father” there would be no "family."

No Fathers in the home is because “The Father” is not in the Home!!!! As in the natural realm so it is spiritually realm because God is creator of both realms. They run parallel with one another; the natural just reflects what is going on in the Spiritual realm.
Is the Mist within your Midst of your Family!!!

Mathew 18: 19-20 King James Version

19.      Again I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20      For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

“Can you really have a family without the Father in the midst?”    We must come to an understanding that if we are to know the role of a family, we first must understand the role of the Father.    The word family, familia, or familiar is a derivative of the word father.  When I say that familia, family or familiar is a derivative of the word father, what I am saying is that the word family, familiar  familial, has been taken from another word, the original word for the word family or familial comes from the word “Father.”  I think God is trying to tell us something.  “Can there really be a family without the father, who is the originator of the family in the midst?”

The Word Family
The word family means a household establishment; a family is a group of people living in the same house.  A family is a social unit consisting of parents and children that they rear.  And they are supposed to be the children of the same parents.  A family is also people that have the same ancestry or marriage relatives.  Families are all of those claiming descent from a common ancestor; tribe or clan; and the lineage comes from the father.   We are the family of the house hold of Faith. “Can you really have a family without The Father in the “Midst??” Which is the location of something surrounded by other things; for example your environment.

Familial:
Is your family familiar with God?
Familial speak of being familiar with the household, domestic, having to do with a family.  Familial or being familiar means that you are able to be friendly, informal or intimate with the people with in that group.  Familial speaks of a person having intimate knowledge of a person, or being closely acquainted with a person or persons.  The word familial means to have an encounter, to be commonly known, to be well known, or acquaintance with; to be familiar is to be attune (which means to be brought into harmony with someone.)  If you have the “Father” “Mist” “shekinah glory”  “the covering of God” in your midst (environment) you will be attune with the members in your family.  Is Jesus the “Father” the Head of your household?

God is Father
One of the titles we call God is Father.  As it is in the natural so it is in the spiritual, there can never be a real family without the “Father” in the midst (environment).   This is why we have so many divorces in today families, because “The Father” is not in the midst.  The manifestation of the present day absents fathers, reflects the spiritual conditions of most of the homes in our community.  I don’t care how much they shout and preach, “God,” “The Father” is not in their midst in the home.  What we can see, taste, touch, smell and hear is reflecting what we cannot taste, touch, smell, and see in the spiritual realm.  The fact that the divorce rate has increase over 50%, in and out of the church in the last 30 years, touches us, shows us, and speaks to our ears in a loud voice, that the “Father” is not in the midst God mist is not in their midst.

Divorce in the Church
Pastors, minister, teachers, evangelist, deacons and preachers are divorcing at an alarming rate, how can you believe God for me, how can you pray for me, if you can’t believe God for yourself, and at home in your own private life in the midst. Who isn't save, him or her? Both of you are claiming to be save, then why are you doing such a violent act and are divorcing.  Someone isn't saved, yet you both profess Christ and claim to serve Christ in the Church, yet you both live apart, in different homes.  Spreading a spirit of rejection, separation and divorce in the church, in the midst amongst Gods people.

I must remind the reader and listener that the anointing runs from the “Head Down” to the congregation.
The anointing runs from the head down, and so does the iniquities which are the violation of God’s justice.  When leadership violates a spiritual law of God and does not repent, Satan is thus given legal right to pass on that same oppression into the church body; which is a representative of a whole spiritual man in Christ Jesus

I have seen what happens to a church when it leaders divorce. People began to take sides, and fall away from the Lord.  Arguments develop on whom was the cause of the failure of the marriage, between members.  Divorce within leadership gives the demon spirits of divorce, separation and division grounds to attack weak Christians within that congregation.  What our leaders do will affect us spiritually, because we are the body of Christ.  Theses next few scriptures expresses God’s anger towards families that do not serve or honor him by getting along. Can you really have a Family without the Father in the Midst?

 Ps. 68:8 KJV

8 .      God setteth the solitary in families he bringeth out those which

which are bound with chains: but rebellious dwell in dry land.

Notice that God uses the word “solitary” which means something that has a firm shape and volume, that which is not hollow. Are you hollow in your thinking?  To have solitary means that you have height, weight, and lengths in the things, concerning your relationship with the Lord.   God has promise us in His word that in Him we will have solitary in our families.  “Now that’ an encouraging word?

Amos 3:2 King James Version

2.You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

The word “iniquities” means absence of moral or spiritual values.
The word  “iniquities” means morally objectionable behavior.
The word “iniquities” also means an unjust act
Can you really have a family without the "Father’s Mist in the Midst"?

Our families and we belong to Him; God will discipline us when we are wrong.

Ephesians  3:15-16 King James Version

15      Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16      That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

Can you really have a Family without the Father in the Midst?

Matthew 18:19-20 King James Version

 19.      Again I say unto you, That if two or you shall agree on
earth as touching anything that they ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven

20      For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

A Mother is a Wife and a Wife is a Mother Part One

Trivial Question

Question:  How long did Jesus tell thee disciples they should have watched and prayed, when they were at the Garden of Gethsemane?

Answer: One (1) Hour Matthew 26:40
40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

Mother is a Wife and a Wife is a Mother
A mother is a person who carries and gives birth to a child, then that mother then cares for that child. She must nurture the child as the child grows into adulthood. A mother is a wife; she is the female marriage partner.  In reality, this is what  a wife is supposed to be, she is to have the role of a mother. She is to love, support her husband, and their children. In addition, sexually satisfied her husband and most of all have children. Be fruitful and multiply in the earth.   There was a tremendous shame, disgrace, and dishonor that were place on a woman’s reputation, which was not able to have children within the community in which the woman lived in.  It is not that way today, the role of the mother has been perverted for the most part, the role of the mother has been strip and now you have mothers who have lost their natural affections.

We will start out talking about Sari.
Genesis 16:1-4 King James Version
1.  Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
 2.  And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
 3.  And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
 4.  And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

In Genesis, which means “beginnings,” the Bible talks of Sarai, being barren, and she gives Hagar to Abram “to wife.” Remember what our topic is about.  “A wife is a mother and a mother is a wife.”

We find that children always represents, newest of life.  Children and their new beginning it is the only immortality on this earth that a man or woman has.  The word “barren” in this portion of scriptures means incapable of sustaining life; ("the dead and barren Moon"). The moon has no trees, no water, and no oxygen.  Therefore, the moon cannot bring forth life or even sustain life.  This is what is what the Bible is saying when the Bible talks about a woman who is “barren.” Barren also means providing no shelter or sustenance. Sustenance meaning that what needs to be eaten to sustain a person's body; food, esp. food containing the required vitamins and energy is not there.

Being “barren” can also mean not having financial means whereby one lives.   To be “barren” means to be completely wanting or lacking.  However, for the most part when most of us heard the word “barren” in the Bible we just think of a woman who cannot have children or off springs.  Little do we know that our physical condition is usually a reflection of what is going on with us spiritually.   Sad thing about today’s society is; we are choosing to be barren.

Remember, when a woman gives life she must not only give the life, but sustain the life until it is of age and able to sustain the life itself  This is what we teach our children as the grow into teens, this is why it is such a tragedy when we see young people giving birth to a baby, because we know unless the parents of the teens intervenes the life of the baby will not be able to be sustain in a proper way in which the baby can grow up and bring forth healthy fruit in his or her life.

I  have often watch some of these talk shows host, who makes tons of money in exploiting the lives of some of these young men, and women who come on their show.  For example, Steve Wilkos who is a break off of Jerry Springer show, a person who I think has done a lot of harm in the long run to our society.  These producers get these young women and men on their stage and bad mouth, scream at them and humiliate them, to me they are ignorant because, for the most part the reason these people are not good parents is because, they have had parents that were verbally abusive to them when they were children.  The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.  We can learn from the Bible how to raise our children and how to be a mother and wife.

These parents some, were molested and rape as children, they too saw a lot of drugs and alcohol use in the family.  They are truly the product of their environment.   If you know what the definition of a mother is then “Steve,” you would not be yelling at them telling them to get the “hell” off of your stage.

These host of these show that are not professional in helping people, in themselves need help.  There behavior is  much like the parents that these people who are doing all this weird stuff came out from or was raise in is and that is why they are mess up trying to nurture children. You don't grow up just being a good parent; you are taught how to parent by your parents.

People reacting to poor parenting parents in this manner is not helping the children or the parent, in fact it is making the situation worse.    Remember a mother is a person who carries and gives birth to a child, then that mother cares for that child.  What does it mean to care for a child 1) care, charge, protection, guardianship -- (attention and management implying responsibility for safety; like how a bodyguard or secret service protects President Obama.  This is what a mother does, however, if you are grown and you make it to adulthood  with no parental protection, you figure in the subconscious of your mind that your child will make it too.  Those parenting skills are passed on.  Therefore, Steve you need to get off of the stage with all that yelling, this is why they are mess up.  To be a mother and a wife you must go to the Bible to get the answers you will need to make it.

The Resurrection

Morning Cup of Word on live365.com/stations/thecrowngem
Description

What do I hope that you will learn from this teaching?

I want the Believer in Christ Jesus to really know and understand what the Word “Resurrection” really means. In addition, I want the believer to also be able to understand that their salvation is based purely upon the Believer believing the “report" of the Bible that God raised Jesus from the grave.

To not believe in the “resurrection”   means that you have no salvation.  It is not the belief in Jesus Christ, mainly that saves you, but it is the belief that God raised Jesus from the dead.  This is how you received salvation.  This is why I say that, the Bible says this in James.

James 2:19 King James Version
19. You believe that there is one God; you do well: the demons also believe, and tremble.

Many people, of many different cultures believe that Jesus walk and talked on the earth, but they do not believe in the “resurrection.”  They do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. This is what makes a big difference between being saved and not being saved. For example, let us look at  what

Romans 10: 9-12 has to say.

9.  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11.  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

What are we to confess?
We are to confess that “God hath raised Jesus from the dead,” then we shall be saved. We must believe this and we must confess this.  Confess meaning we must admit to the truth that is in the Word of God to ourselves, our families and outside our homes; knowing that many may feel that what we are accepting as truth is offensive.

The key to our salvation is in verse 9 “believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

This is the key, to our salvation. However, in my eye sight the Organize church is basing too much of the plan of salvation on earthly things, when in reality it is a spiritual belief system of eternal life of the hereafter that brings us to salvation.   This is what I want to get across to my followers on the radio, video and blogs.  That it is the believing on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is how we are saved.  The trouble is how do I express this on paper, audio and video.   This is what I have been prayerfully minded of.

Jesus is the Resurrection

Jesus stated that He was the resurrection and the life.  The Gospels shows us that Jesus offer mankind life not death. Many today do not preach this; they preach everything but the “Resurrection of Jesus Christ” which is an act of salvation for mankind. I think it is the plan of Satan  is to keep man away from the reasoning that we are save and what saves us is believing on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:3
3. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4. In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them.

2 Corinthians 3:14

13. But their minds were blinded: for until this day remains the same veil not taken away in the reading of the Old Testament.

To have a blind-mind is to have Mind-Blindness.

The Bible is saying that there is a cognitive disorder; meaning there is a group of mental processes that includes attention, memory, producing and understanding language, learning, reasoning, problem solving, and decision making that is not functioning properly because the devil is at work with their minds on a serious level.  The unbeliever is not able to have the belief system that is pleasing to God.  The Bible is saying that these people who think salvation is a joke lack mental awareness of the spiritual world, which the Gospel of Jesus Christ speaks of. They are suffering spiritual autism, dementia and they are spiritually bi-polar.  Therefore, they cannot understand the Bible at all.  Why argue can’t you see that they are autistic people that are not able to conceptualize or understand the scriptures? Therefore, stop wasting your time and just pray for them.

 Roman 10:9-11 King James Version
The “Resurrection” of Jesus Christ is not mention or preaches about that much, because the "god of this world" has blinded their eyes.

People for the most part are not able to see or have a visual perception of the power of the resurrection.  Thereby, they do not understand that it is the “resurrection,” of Jesus Christ by the Father, which seals our future as far as eternal life is concern.  The disciples knew this and this is why they were so willing to give up their live and suffer because they understood the ministry of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I think one of the reasons many do not preach that much about the “resurrection” is because deep down inside most people today do not believe in the “supernatural.” To really have faith in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ you must believe in the “supernatural.”  I feel if Believers really believed in the supernatural power of the resurrection, we would see more miracles being performed in the Church.

II Timothy 3:5 King James Version
5. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away.

Salvation is the supernatural power of God raising Jesus from the grave.  If you can believe that you can believe God for anything.

Romans 10:9-11 King James Version verse 9 being the key verse the Bible says;

Confess that God has raised him from  the dead = salvation.
In the English language the word “confess” means a statement made by a person acknowledging some personal fact.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Rom 10:8 On the contrary, what does it say? The message is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the message of faith that we proclaim:

Rom 10:9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Rom 10:10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.

Believe in heart + confess with mouth = salvation.

The Bible speaks, even before Jesus crucifixion, of the resurrection.

 John 11:1-57 King James Version
It is in this chapter that we learn about one of the most famous miracles of Jesus Christ ministry is when he raised Lazarus from the dead.   You maybe are wondering why of the entire miracle Jesus performed why this miracle is the most important miracle of all of Jesus miracles.  It is because, it is this miracle that speaks and proves what the most important mission or charge the Father had assigned Jesus Christ to do.

It wasn’t turning water into wine, although that is a powerful miracle.  It was not the feeding of the five thousand, although that was off the hook.  God is trying to show us why He sent Jesus, why He gave His only begotten son, and it all happens in “Bethany” which means “God is my Help”

It is in John 11 that we see and learn what the true mission of Jesus Christ is.  It is not the feeding of the five thousand, it is not turning water into wine, it is not healing the sick, but it is the resurrection of the death into life.  This is the mission of Jesus Christ.

The sad thing is people still have the mentality to look for miracles that give physical or self gratification, un able to see the real purpose why God sent Christ to die for us.

John 11:1-4 King James Version
 1.  Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
 2.  (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
 3.  Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
 4.  When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

The Bible shares with us that Lazarus, Martha and Mary lived in "Bethany" which means “God is our Help.” And some say that the name Bethany also mean “house of misery/poor house.”  "Bethany" was a very important place in the life of Jesus.   Jesus often could be found there in the homes of his best friends as He minister to the people there in "Bethany" which means “God is our Help,” or House of misery/poor house.”

The City
Bethany (Aramaic: בית עניא, Beth anya,
Today Bethany is identified with today West Bank City, city of al-Eizariya (Arabic (العيزرية), meaning "Place of Lazarus").

The city is located on the Mount of Olives towards the eastern slopes.  Bethany sat two miles southeast of JerusalemBethany a small village on the eastern slopes of Mount of Olives was a home to Martha and Mary and their brother Lazarus. Jesus stopped at Bethany on each journey to Jerusalem. On one occasion Martha got upset with Mary listening to Jesus and not helping her with hosting guest (Luke 10:38-42).

 John 11:18 King James Version
18.  Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
Bethany was the finale stop before going to JerusalemBethany was directly coming from Jericho. The city was at the foot of Jerusalem therefore the people could not really see Jerusalem this was a very secluded place for Jesus to rest at.

What was the Role of this City

It is in this city that we learn about one of the most famous miracles of Jesus Christ ministry is when he raised Lazarus from the dead.   Why this miracle of all of Jesus miracles was is of the most important?  It is because this miracle speaks and proves what the most important the mission or charge the Father had assigned Jesus Christ to do.

It was this miracle that demonstrated the power and authority of Jesus Christ.  It is in this portion of scripture and it was there in "Bethany" that God would prepare the people of that age to get ready for the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.  God would use Jesus Friend to show us and prepare us for His Son’s resurrection from the dead.   Also the name “Lazarus” is an abbreviation of the name Eleazar which means “God has helped.”

There are other things that took place at Bethany, for example, Simon the Leper (Matthew 26:6; Mark 14:3)

Matthew 26:1-12 King James Version

 1.  And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
 2.  Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
 3.  Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
 4.  And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
 5.  But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.
 6.  Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,
 7.  There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.
 8.  But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?
 9.  For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.
 10.  When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
 11.  For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
 12.  For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

We see that not only was Bethany a place of friendship, peace and comfort, but Bethany was a place preparing Jesus and the disciplines of Jesus resurrection for it was there in Bethany that they watch Jesus ascension into heaven.

Key verses 29 but to get a better understanding we should read the whole chapter.

Luke 19: 29-38 King James Version
It was at Bethany where Palm Sunday or the beginning of the Holy Week began at.

29And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
 30.  Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
 31.  And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
32.  And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33.  And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
34.  And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
35.  And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
36.  And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37.  And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38.  Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

Luke 24:50-53 King James Version

45.  Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
 46.  And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
 47.  And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
 48.  And ye are witnesses of these things.

49.  And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
 50.  And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
 51.  And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
 52.  And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
 53.  And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

In this chapter we have the history of that illustrious miracle which Christ wrought a little before his death—the raising of Lazarus to life, which is recorded only by this evangelist; for the other three confine themselves to what Christ did in Galilee, where he resided most, and scarcely ever carried their history into Jerusalem till the passion-week: whereas John’s memoirs relate chiefly to what passed at Jerusalem; this passage therefore was reserved for his pen. Some suggest that, when the other evangelists wrote, Lazarus was alive, and it would not well agree either with his safety or with his humility to have it recorded till now, when it is supposed he was dead. It is more largely recorded than any other of Christ’s miracles, not only because there are many circumstances of it so very instructive and the miracle of itself so great a proof of Christ’s mission, but because it was an earnest of that which was to be the crowning proof of all—Christ’s own resurrection. Here is, I. The tidings sent to our Lord Jesus of the sickness of Lazarus, and his entertainment of those tidings (v. 1-16). II. The visit he made to Lazarus’s relations when he had heard of his death, and their entertainment of the visit (v. 17-32). III. The miracle wrought in the raising of Lazarus from the dead (v. 33-44). IV. The effect wrought by this miracle upon others (v. 45-57).

 5.  Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
 6.  When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
 7.  Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
 8.  His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
 9.  Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
 10.  But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
 11.  These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
 12.  Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
 13.  Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
 14.  Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
 15.  And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
 16.  Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
 17.  Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
 18.  Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
 19.  And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
 20.  Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
 21.  Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
 22.  But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
 23.  Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
 24.  Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
 25.  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
 26.  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27.  She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
 28.  And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
 29.  As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.
 30.  Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
 31.  The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
 32.  Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
 33.  When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.
 34.  And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
 35.  Jesus wept.
 36.  Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
 37.  And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
 38.  Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
 39.  Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
 40.  Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
 41.  Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
 42.  And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
 43.  And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
 44.  And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
 45.  Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
 46.  But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
 47.  Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
 48.  If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
 49.  And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
 50.  Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
 51.  And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
 52.  And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
 53.  Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
 54.  Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
 55.  And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
 56.  Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast?
 57.  Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.

Lazarus was dead in the grave for four days, only Jesus knew that Lazarus would walk again, or should I say “stand” again.  Accordingly to the scriptures Lazarus came back from the dead he was resurrected.

Jesus is giving us a small bird eye view of what he would do the third day after his crucifixion. He would rise from out of the grave.  Jesus would show that death has no power over him and if we believe on the name of Jesus Christ death would have no power over us as well.

John 11:43 King James Version

The Resurrection was predicted by Jesus.
It was right after Jesus had raise Lazarus from the dead that he predicted his own resurrection.   Jesus makes this prediction during his trial before the Roman and the Jewish leaders.

Matthew 26:60-64 King James Version

60.  But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,
 61.  And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.
 62.  And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
 63.  But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
 64.  Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

65.  Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

In other words Jesus is saying you will answer to my Father and me!

People would not believe it; when Jesus walked the earth and they cannot believe it now; that Jesus could plan His own death and resurrection.   In fact Jesus was advertising his death and resurrection prior to it actually happening.   To the disciples they could not understand what He was talking about and even now people cannot understand the resurrection and preach very little about it.

The raising of Lazarus from the dead - John 11:1-46
The entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, which Jesus begins near Bethany - Mark 11:1 and Luke 19:29
The lodging of Jesus in Bethany during the following week - Matthew 21:17 and Mark 11:11-12
The dinner in the house of Simon the Leper, at which Mary anoints Jesus - Matthew 26:6-13, Mark 14:3-9, and John 12:1-8
Before the Ascension of Jesus into heaven - Luke 24:50
In Luke 10:38-42, a visit of Jesus to the home of Mary and Martha is described, but the village of Bethany is not named (nor whether Jesus is even in the vicinity of Jerusalem).
Bethany beyond the Jordan

It is now called Azariyeh, or Lazariyeh, "the place of Lazarus."

(Matt 21:17; 26:6; Mark 11:11; 14:3; Luke 24:50; John 11:1; 12:1).

 Mathew 16:21 King James Version
65.  Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

The Resurrection Spoken by Isaiah
Even in the Old Testament the death, burial and resurrection is mention, 700 years in advance Isaiah speaks of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.   Isaiah calls Jesus the suffering servant of God.

Isaiah 53 King James Version

 1.  Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
 2.  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
 3.  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
 4.  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
 5.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
 6.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
 7.  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
 8.  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
 9.  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
 10.  Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
 11.  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
